A court in Barcelona has accepted the voluntary bankruptcy of Vilella Sports, the former Spanish distributor of Mizuno. According to a report in Tradesport, the Japanese company had broken the relationship last January, claiming delays in payments, and is now planning to set up its own subsidiary in the country, like the one that it recently established in Italy. Vilella Rahn, the holding company of Vilella Sports, requested the bankruptcy proceedings for its sports distribution company and other operations about one year ago.
