A deal between Keen and the Conservation Alliance, a non-profit organization that is supposed to protect natural wildlife in North America, helped spur 24 additional companies to join the organization and raised $120,000. Keen agreed to match any of the membership fees due by the new companies for the first year. Several American outdoor companies are members of the organization. The Conservation Alliance’s contribution budget for 2006 stands at $500,000, a 38 percent increase in two years.
