A few weeks after it snatched a four-year sponsorship agreement with the Rugby Football Union, Canterbury inked a three-year partnership with the Leicester Tigers. The deal to act as a the kit supplier of England Rugby marked the return of Canterbury to the forefront of the rugby market, particularly since the kit supplier slot was previously occupied by Nike.
