A German district court has ordered the dismissal of Thomas Mayer as managing director of Mitteldeutsche Fahrradwerke (Mifa), the insolvent German bicycle manufacturer. The court has decided that its court-appointed administrator, Lucas Flöther, will be the only decision-maker at the company. The supervisory board has named a new chief executive, Olaf Grothey, who has many years of management experience.
