A large counterfeiting operation for Nike sport shoes between France and China was uncovered near Paris last week. The police arrested 43 people of whom four have been charged for counterfeit dealing. The gang reportedly bought shoes for €8 in China and sold them on to stores for €50 in France, making profits of about €85,000 since March last year.
