A lawyer in Illinois is suing Adidas and the NBA player Kevin Garnett for their marketing campaign using the phrase “We Not Me.” W. Brand Bobosky claims that he came up with the slogan to present to his Rotary Club, and says he registered as a trademark and a copyright. The Adidas campaign ran in 2007 in internet commercials and on athletic apparel.
