A new top management is taking over at Galeria Kaufhof, the German department store organization that owns the Kaufhof Sportarena stores, following the retail group's takeover by Hudson's Bay. The executive board has been reduced from six to four members, with Olivier Van den Bossche acting as chief executive in the place of the retiring Thomas Fett. He will also take care of store design and visual merchandising. Edo Beukema is in charge of purchasing and Klaus Hellmich of multichannel-retailing. New on the board is Guido Mager, who has been promoted from the finance department. Two former board members, Rolf Boje and Volker Schlinge, will leave the company.
