A new trade show is being organized for the fast-growing Turkish sporting goods market. Called Sport World Fair, it is due to be held in Istanbul next May 13-16. Pointing out that brands such as Adidas and Nike have already agreed to participate, the organizers indicate that they are expecting 200 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors, mostly consumers. The show is being run with the cooperation of the Turkish Youth and Sports Ministry and other institutions by Forza Fairs, which organizes other trade shows in the area of agriculture, food, education and others. Other companies have been organizing sports shows in Istanbul over the last few years.
