Abacus Sportswear is joining Glenmuir as an apparel licensee of the Ryder Cup for the 2012 and 2014 editions. Both companies will have to get their items approved by the organizer of the event. Abacus stands a good chance with its rain jackets, which were worn even when it was not raining by the European team in the Solheim Cup in Ireland last year.
