Active Brands, the Norwegian group that is changing hands (see our latest issue), has established its own subsidiary in Finland and has taken full control of four of its brands in this market: Dæhlie, Johaug, Kari Traa and Sweet Protection. The new office is located near Helsinki's airport and run by Timo Leppisto, who was previously chief executive for one of the most prominent suppliers in the country, Patrol Oy. Active Brands currently has around 180 employees worldwide, 80 of which are employed at the head office at Økern in Oslo.
