Adidas Action Sports presented a new outsole for skateboarding shoes in July at the Bright show held in Berlin. The new cold resistant cushioning system, “boost,” is implemented in one new model, available in two different colors from February 2015. The cushioning system was originally used for the snowboarding segment. Adidas Action Sports also launched a new collection of the “A league” line, featuring collaborations with the skate industry, including shops, other skateboarding brands or skateboarders. For spring/summer 2015, Adidas is partnering with The Hundreds, U.S. brand of apparel, footwear and a print magazine and Magenta, the skateboarding brand from France. The “A league” line is sold only at selected skate shops.
