Adidas America is eliminating some positions from its operations in Portland, Oregon, mostly in sales and marketing. It employs about 800 people there, according to The Oregonian newspaper. The company plans a restructuring later this year that will result in 60 new positions. While it wouldn’t specify how many cuts will be coming, Adidas did say it would be less than that 60. It has been rumored that the company is planning to move all of its operations from Portland to Massachusetts.
