Adidas and Malbon Golf have unveiled the Crosby Collection, inspired by the iconic American entertainer Bing Crosby. The timing of the release is also highly strategic, as Crosby initiated the Crosby Clambake in 1937, an annual event that brought together golf professionals, celebrities, musicians and actors for a golf tournament. Today, the event is known as the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and is scheduled for early February.
Drawing inspiration from Crosby’s era, the two brands have collaborated to create a collection for both men and women, offering a modern interpretation of the silhouettes that characterized that period. The collection features button-down polos, pleated trousers and shorts, crewnecks, a lightweight sport coat and a cardigan inspired by a poster from one of the early clambakes. For women, the collection includes a dress, polos, and form-fitting culotte pants.
