Adidas has announced the second edition of its educational program for underserved communities, The Originals Creator Network, in partnership with London-based creative agency and youth-led new media platform Guap. The mentorship program, first launched in March 2022, selects 40 emerging creatives from London for a series of mentorship workshops and live creative briefs. This year’s edition will be split into two five-month projects based on the participants’ experience levels, focusing on media, design and production. The young creatives will continue to participate in educational workshops led by industry experts, have access to mentors, and some will receive further commissions to work on live Adidas Originals projects, with both in-person and online mentorship. Applications are open until June 25, and the course will begin in July 2023.
