Adidas has launched a series of short films, called Sport 15, telling brand stories that are meant to motivate young people to do their best in sports – at their own level, in any sport and anywhere around the world. The first films portray athletes such as Lionel Messi, James Rodriguez and Derrick Rose. The campaign was described as a long-term investment in the Adidas brand. The films created by 180 Los Angeles will be primarily activated through broadcasting, and then social media, through what the group describes as a network of news rooms in Herzogenaurach, London, Portland, Shanghai, Moscow and Rio de Janeiro. The commercials are built on the theme of “Take it” and “Takers,” articulating the idea that every minute of every game is up for grabs.
