Adidas has named the candidates standing for election to its supervisory board at the annual general meeting on May 9, as Frank Appel, Katja Kraus and Willi Schwerdtle will not be standing for reelection. New on the board would be Jing Ulrich, managing director and vice chairman for Asia-Pacific at JPMorgan Chase. She was previously managing director at Deutsche Bank and at CLSA, a brokerage specializing in the Asia-Pacific region. Another candidate, Thomas Rabe, has been chairman and chief executive of Bertelsmann since 2012 and was appointed to its executive board as chief financial officer in 2006. Another candidate is Bodo Uebber, who has been on the management board of Daimler AG since 2003, currently responsible for finance & controlling, Daimler Financial Services and mergers & acquisitions.  Igor Landau will stand for re-election for one year as chairman of the supervisory board, but he plans to step down at the regular annual general meeting of 2020. Herbert Kauffmann is standing for re-election for a term of two years. The other current members of the supervisory board – Ian Gallienne, Kathrin Menges and Nassef Sawiris – will stand for re-election on May 9 for five-year terms.
