Adidas has obtained the right to place a record 26 ads along the course of the Boston Marathon next Monday, in addition to dressing up the Boston Athletic Association’s volunteers, medical staff and race officials. Adidas has been sponsoring the oldest city marathon in modern history, which began in 1897, for 20 years. The contract runs through 2010.
