Adidas has reached one million yards of fabric produced with the DryDye technology, which uses a waterless dyeing process. According to the German brand, the technology enables savings of 25 liters of water per T-shirt that are usually needed in the dyeing process. The technology is also said to reduce the use of chemicals and energy by 50 percent. In 2012, the company launched the first Adidas DryDye collection, consisting of a series of 50,000 graphic T-shirts, and has steadily expanded it across ranges and product categories.
