Adidas is going to replace Nike as the sponsor of the Boca Juniors football club in Argentina, reportedly paying $100 million over the next ten years. It will also pay additional bonuses for victories and royalties on the sale of jerseys. Adidas is also the sponsor of a rival Argentinian team, River Plate, and of the national football team.
