The contract between New Balance and Italian football club A.S. Roma is due to expire at the end of the 2022/23 Serie A season. According to the Italian newspaper Il Tempo, the deal will not be extended, and Adidas is set to take over as a technical partner in a new multi-year agreement from 2023/24. José Mourinho, the current head coach of the club, is also an Adidas ambassador, and so is Paulo Dybala, who has just moved to the club from Juventus. Adidas previously partnered with A.S. Roma as a technical sponsor from 1991 to 1994.
