Adidas says that more than 30 percent of the cotton it sourced in 2014 was sustainable cotton, or Better Cotton, exceeding a target of 25 percent. It came mainly from farmers in India, Pakistan and Brazil. As a founding member of the Better Cotton Initiative, Adidas has pledged to use sustainable cotton in 100 percent of its products by 2018. The target for 2015 is 40 percent.
