Adidas is introducing the Switch FWD, a new running shoe design expected to launch globally on July 27. The EVA compound midsole in the Switch FWD features “intricately designed voids that collapse and spring forward, converting weight into forward motion,” the brand said. Weight is transferred into forward motion, providing a smooth running experience for athletes of all levels, according to Adidas. The shoe also features a lightweight Continental outsole to offer extra grip in all weather conditions. Finally, the lightweight engineered mesh upper of the shoe features strategically positioned windows on the forefoot and midfoot to enhance breathability.
