After a long absence, Slazenger is returning to France. The move back across the English Channel will occur in the spring/summer of 2020. Global Sportswear Services (GSS) will be handling the footwear license for France and plans to begin with a mid-tier line of about ten models and a higher-end line called Legend. GSS also distributes sneakers for Ellesse and US Polo Assn. At the same time, Sodilog of Colmar, France, will be handling the French distribution of Slazenger's apparel. Slazenger was acquired in 2004 by Sports Direct International.
