After Zara and H&M, another big low-cost fashion retail chain, Topshop, is planning to launch a sports and leisurewear line, called Parkwood Topshop Athletic, in a joint venture with Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, the American musician, singer and actress, and her company, Parkwood Entertainment. The line will consist of clothing and footwear for dance, fitness and other sports. It will be sold from the autumn of 2015 in many or all of Topshop's 700-plus stores around the world and on Topshop.com. Sir Philip Green, who owns Topshop through his holding company, Arcadia Group, was quoted as saying that he has been looking at this category because of the development of fashion-inspired fitness clothing.
