Alessandro Carpignano has resigned as general manager of Arena Italia, the Italian branch of Arena International, after 12 years in the position, for personal reasons. While looking for his successor, the company indicates that orders from the U.S. have been higher than expected following the appointment of Tim McCool as head of Arena North America last summer. Based in Portland, Oregon, McCool divides his time between Arena and Skins, the company for which he became North American director a few weeks ago. McCool headed up Babolat's U.S. subsidiary in Boulder, Colorado, before taking the helm of Gathering Storm, the former distributor of Arena and Skins in the U.S.
