Andreas Stenman has been appointed as the new managing director of the XXL ASA chain in Sweden, with effect from Sept. 1. He will take the place of Marcus Wibergh, who left the fast-expanding Norwegian-based sports retailer in April. Stenman is currently still head of sales at Rusta Sweden. He previously worked for more than ten years at Lidl Sweden, most recently as regional manager. Until Sept. 1, Janicke Blomsnes, deputy country manager in Sweden and head of Nordic training, is assuming Stenman's future responsibilities at XXL.
