Andy Murray has taken a stake in Castore, the British premium sports and casual menswear brand. The company did not unveil the financial details of Murray's investment. Meanwhile, the 31-year-old tennis player is also becoming the brand's global ambassador. The financial details of the sponsorship deal were not revealed either, but the Financial Times reported that Murray will get £8 million (€9.3m-$10.5m) over eight years to be the face of the brand. Murray is now on Castore's board as an adviser alongside the two brothers who founded the brand only three years ago, Tom and Phil Beahon. He will also advise the brand on product innovation, and will launch signature product over the next year.
