While looking for new investment opportunities in the ski, golf and tennis sectors, ADM Créations, a new French holding company run by Bernard Liatti, plans to introduce a range of elegant and comfortable pullovers, caps and other after-ski products under the Angel des Montagnes brand name at February’s Winter Ispo show. It will be 100 percent made with wool from alpine sheep.

Angel des Montagnes is a French company specializing in high-end furniture for mountain chalets and hotels, with six stores under its name in France, Switzerland, Belgium and Japan. Founded five years ago by an interior designer, Angélique Buisson, the company went bankrupt and ADM Créations took it over last July.

The new softgoods line will be offered to the clients of Innovaski, another French company acquired by ADM Créations last July. It has made its mark through a successful ski license with Hello Kitty and last spring signed a seven-year contract for Vuarnet skis and accessories.

Positioned very high in the luxury segment of the market, the first Vuarnet skis will already be sold in some selected European stores as of next January. The distribution of Innovaski’s cheaper Hello Kitty skis for children is being expanded to more than 220 stores all over Europe, including Austria, Switzerland and Italy. In the past season they were available for rental at 175 ski shops, mostly in France, with excellent results. As the new president of ADM Créations and Innovaski, Liatti wants to expand the distribution to 500 stores all over Europe, and find new consumer brands to add to Innovaski’s portfolio.

As former president of Dynastar and then senior vice president of the Rossignol Group for hardware operations, Liatti signed co-branding contracts for Dynastar with Christian Dior and Ferrari. He is one of five equal shareholders in ADM Créations.
