Anna-Lena Schulte-Angels has been appointed joint general manager of Sport Voswinkel, the sporting goods retail chain controlled by Intersport Germany. She takes the place of Jochen Schnell, who has joined the executive board of the group. Schulte-Angels worked previously in leading positions at the cosmetics and jewelry chains of Douglas Holding and Christ. At Voswinkel, which currently operates 75 stores, she will work with its other joint general manager, Matthias Bärtels, and report directly to Kim Roether, chief executive of Intersport Germany.
