Anta Sports Products announced yesterday a partnership with NBA China, taking the place of Peak Sports. The Chinese company will launch a complete line of co-branded league and team-identified footwear and accessories that will be sold in Anta's 2,000-plus stores around the country and at its online stores in the marketplaces of Tmall and JingDong. Anta will also collaborate with the NBA in promoting the game of basketball in China, notably by organizing new 5-on-5 intramural competitions on university campuses across the country. The players will be allowed to participate in a training camp hosted by NBA players and legends in the summer months. The former NBA champions will visit select cities during the playing season. Among other initiatives, Anta will become the official partner of NBA Nation in China, a free basketball and lifestyle touring event that has been taking place in the country for the past three years.
