Arc’teryx is already well known in Europe for its yearly summer Alpine Academy event in Chamonix. It is now launching for the first time a series of winter events in Europe, called Arc’teryx Academy, From Feb. 18 to 20, the “Arc’teryx Academy: freeride” premiere will be held in St. Anton, Austria. The program of 23 workshops and events includes ski touring, avalanche safety, freeriding and a movie night. The Canadian brand, which is part of Amer Sports, is also organizing climbing academies in the Lake District of the U.K., and North American academy sessions in Squamish for climbing and Jackson Hole for skiing.
