Arena has secured the exclusive rights to outfit the German swimming national team under the helm of the German swimming federation. The Italian company, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary, takes over in this role from the TYR brand. The new agreement was announced shortly before the national swim championships, which will begin in Berlin tomorrow. The deal with the German federation followed quickly after similar agreements with the federations of Italy last December and the U.S. in February. Additionally, Arena supports the Dutch swimming team. It recently renewed its sponsorship agreement with the Hungarian Swimming Association until 2016, while extending deals with two Hungarian champions and signing up three newcomers from the country.
