Arena is going to take the place of Speedo as the official partner of the International Swimming Federation (Fina) for the World Swimming Championships and the World Masters Championships in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 as well the World Junior Championships in 2015, 2017 and 2019. The Italian brand will also be the exclusive supplier of swimwear, sportswear, swimming equipment and training aids for Fina's officers, staff and volunteers at these events. In recent years, Arena had been the title sponsor of the annual Fina Swimming World Cup. Separately, Arena says it will be the exclusive supplier of the English swimming and diving teams at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow from next July 23 to Aug. 3, taking over the role from Speedo and Adidas.
