As VF Corporation’s new president and chief executive, Eric Wiseman, assumes these responsibilities on Jan. 1, 2008, several other changes to the management structure will be taking place. This follows on from the retirement of 54-year-old George Derhofer, senior vice-president of global operations, after 13 years with the American group. There are no plans to appoint a successor in this post. Ed Doran, president of VF’s Imagewear coalition, and Boyd Rogers, group vice president and president of the supply chain division, will report directly to Wiseman. Martin Schneider, vice president and chief information officer, who also previously reported to Derhofer, will report to Bob Shearer, VF’s senior vice president and chief financial officer. Other changes are being made in the lower ranks of the hierarchy to help establish a more collaborative team-based culture.
