Asics, Odlo, Salomon, X-Bionic and Skins will be among the international brands that will present their products in a new “Running Village” at the ninth edition of the Asia Outdoor trade show in Nanjing on July 23-26. The new initiative will be accompanied by various running-related events.
Aside from a “Night Running Race” that will be held for the second time in the Purple Mountains on July 25, an international panel of experts will select a new “Running Award.” A “China Running Industry Forum” will discuss the current state and the future development of the Chinese running market.
Like last year, Asia Outdoor will feature a total of more than 600 exhibitors. Along with the participants in the new “Running Village,” important companies such as Gore-Tex and Mountain Hardware will participate in the next Asia Outdoor for the first time. The North Face will be showing its collections again, as it did last year (more in The Outdoor Industry Compass).
