ASICS America and its parent company in Japan have filed separate lawsuits in California against Steve Madden and Danskin, alleging trademark infringement, unfair competition and false advertising. The complaints cite the Sweeper, Stryker and Swftt models of Madden and the Gazelle and Sweetie styles of Danskin.
