Asics and Toray have jointly developed a new high-perfomance fabric, called Camaleon Mesh, that changes color depending on the viewing angle. It will be used in Asics' Gel-Quantum 360 CM running shoe. Entirely made in Japan, the fabric is based on new technology that controls the placement of threads at a microscopic level. It is breathable, lightweight and highly flexible.
