Asics has announced a year-long deal as the official supplier of running shoes to Team Sky for 2016. The brand's products will be worn by the pro cycling team on the podium as well as for use in training, preparation in the gym and on the road. As part of the partnership, Asics will provide the GT-2000 4, a lightweight running shoe that is said to offer a supported fit and cushioned feel when out on the road, as well as the Asics Tiger, a lifestyle trainer inspired by the running shoes of the 80s and 90s to be worn by the team as casual wear when the team is not in training or competition.
