Asics has appointed Gary Raucher to take responsibility for marketing, merchandising and product in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). As an executive vice president of Asics EMEA, he will lead a newly instituted Category organization to drive growth in running, core performance sports and sports style in the region. Raucher joins the company with a background of more than 20 years in marketing. He led marketing transformation programs at TomTom as global head of marketing and at Philips as global head of brand and communications, before setting up his own strategic brand consultancy.
