Asics has renewed its sponsorship agreement with Johanna Konta, the rising star of British tennis. Konta has been with Asics for the last two years and her career has considerably risen. She has climbed more than 100 places in the WTA ranking over the last 12 months, and has reached the top 30. In January, the 24-year-old player became the first British woman to reach a Grand Slam semi-final in 33 years, since Jo Durie reached the US Open semi-finals in 1983. Asics' sponsorship will provide Konta with the latest technical footwear and apparel across a variety of tennis surfaces. The player will also be wearing the Asics training range and the brand's lifestyle collection, Asics Tiger and Onitsuka Tiger, off court.
