Asics used a team of all women to come up with a new line of women’s shoes. The shoes, the Plaisance and Chatelet models, are sporty ballerinas modeled after original Asics gymnastics shoes. They are available from this month in Japan and Taiwan, retailing for ¥6,615 (€53.60-$73.20) and ¥6,090 (€49.40-$67.40).
