Asics will be the sponsor of Australian Rugby and official partner of the Qantas Wallabies from 2014. The new deal extends the existing partnership of the Japanese sportswear brand with Australian Rugby as the official footwear supplier of the Qantas Wallabies and Australian Rugby teams for 2013. Under the terms of the new agreement, all Australian Rugby teams, including the Qantas Wallabies and the Qantas Men's and Women's Sevens, will wear Asics apparel and footwear. Asics' logo will appear on the athletes' jerseys. Alongside elite players, Asics said that it intends to support the Australian Rugby Union across all of its programs, including the promotion of the sport at all levels, from the grassroots through to the Wallabies. The brand already has a number of rugby ambassadors, including James Horwill, Israel Folau and Stephen Moore, all of whom are Qantas Wallabies.
