French brand Babolat has announced a seven-year extension to its contract with tennis star Carlos Alcaraz, which will now continue until at least 2030. The 21-year-old Spanish-born player was recently crowned Wimbledon champion and previously won the US Open in 2022. Alcaraz signed his first contract with Babolat at the age of ten and joined the international Babolat team when he was just 13. In 2022, he reached the world No. 1 spot in men’s singles, becoming the youngest world No. 1 in tennis history. Since the start of the 2022 US Open, he has played with the Babolat Pure Aero 98 racquet, an updated version of the Pure Aero VS.
