Babolat has developed a new approach to the game of tennis with a system of sensors, integrated into the racquet, that record a flow of data on the individual's performance. The company's new Play & Connect technology is designed to help professionals and amateurs better understand the way in which they play in a playful manner, and to improve their game. The first demos and presentations of the new technology will be made at the Roland-Garros French Open championships in May. By the month of September, 100 prototype racquets will be tested around the world prior to a formal launch in 2013.
