Babolat has introduced a new range of four racquets, called Pure Strike, that will be available at retail internationally in December. They have been specifically designed for “first strikers” who have an attack-based game and take the ball early. They offer reactivity and precision thanks to a hybrid square and elliptic frame construction and specific technologies. The range consists of a model for players who use the entire court to challenge their opponents; another one for players who use the speed of their opponent's ball; one for competitive players who play forward, hitting the ball immediately after its bounce; and a lighter racquet with a larger headsize for better manoeuvrability and forgiveness.
