BASF 3D Printing Solutions, a subsidiary of BASF, is working with Ecco on the development of a new approach to 3D printing for footwear. They are partnering in this project with Origin, an open-platform provider of additive 3D printing services, with the aim of developing a solution for mass production of shoes. Trials have already been done at Ecco's research and development center in Denmark.
