BasicNet has announced a new multi-year partnership deal with Genoa C.F.C. taking the place of Lotto. Kappa had previously sponsored the Italian football club, in the late 1990s. Under the terms of the new agreement, the club's teams will be wearing products of BasicNet's brands including Kappa, Robe di Kappa, K-Way, Superga, and Sebago, on and off the pitch. Further details of the deal will be unveiled during a press conference at the beginning of the 2019/2020 season, alongside the presentation of the new kit. Genoa C.F.C. was established in 1893 and is the oldest football team in Italy.
