Biretco B.V., the big Dutch retail organization for bicycles based in Breda, hired Robèrt Scholten effective last Monday to be its manager for new business activities. He will develop the buying group's business abroad and explore new markets. Scholten has been in the two-wheel industry for many years. For the last 17 years he worked for Batavus, a Dutch cycle brand, in various positions, most recently as national and international sales manager.
