Björn Borg has terminated partnerships with distributors for the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. It wants to directly handle distribution in these markets, which are significant for the Swedish brand of underwear and sports apparel. The rights are currently held by the Baseline Group, consisting of Dutch Brand Management (DBM) in the Netherlands and Belgian Brand Management (BBM) in Belgium. The company said Baseline would hold the rights for the four-year term of notice until November 2019, unless the parties agreed on an earlier takeover. DBM has turned the Netherlands into the largest market after Sweden for Björn Borg for several years, making up about 27 percent of its turnover in 2014.
