Björn Borg reports a 55 percent increase in net earnings to 24 million Swedish kronor (€2.6m-$3.2m) in the third quarter, thanks to an improved gross margin of 52.4 percent, cost controls and discontinuing its Chinese operations. Sales increased by only 2 percent to SEK 163.7 million (€17.7m-$21.7m), but the Swedish underwear brand wants to invest in new sales management and design to boost the turnover.
